Meet Our Creatives

Our Creative Me group is full of inspiring young makers, each bringing their own unique style, heart, and imagination to this year’s Christmas Pop-Up in Abingdon. Every one of them has explored sustainable creativity, identity, and expression in their own way, and together, they make up the colourful, joyful spirit of this event. Here they are, in their own words.

Hi, I’m Lydia!

I’m a young designer and the creator behind Lydia Creates. I re-imagine fashion and accessories using pre-loved materials and clothing. I love working with both pastels and vibrant colours to create inclusive, expressive designs that celebrate individuality and sustainability.

Hi, I’m Sophie

I’m Sophie, known as Pinkiedashshy on social media such TikTok, Deviant-art and YouTube. I specialise in fan made fandom based merchandise such as stickers, keychains, art prints, etc, of video games, inde cartoons, and more. I believe in spreading creative ideas and artists supporting each other regardless of different styles and techniques.

Hi, I’m Freya

I love making handmade jewelry that’s colourful and creative which i have turned into a small business, O.T Crafts ! Each piece i hace made has its own vibe, perfect for anyone who loves to express themselves, whether that’s through bright colours or darker tones

Hi, I’m Jess

I love cats and I love colour, particularly strong deep tones. When I fall in love with a colour you will see it in my hair and you will see it in my art. I reuse buttons, beads and fabrics when their colour, texture and look make me happy. I am looking forward to sharing the pieces I have been working on with you xx

Hi, I’m Riley

I’m 9 and I love creating with my mum. Art and fashion help me express who I am and how I feel. I’m really connected to my emotions and sensitive to different materials, so creating gives me a way to explore and share my feelings in a way that feels true to me.
